The OST 100 and OST 150 are refraction units for optometrists who need a complete examination workstation in a small room. They bring the patient chair, instrument table, chart projector support and phoropter arm together in one elegant, ergonomic unit. Everything you need for a comprehensive eye test is within reach, and the compact layout leaves more of the room free for your practice.
Comfort for patient and practitioner
- Motorised chair with fixed back: raise or lower the patient smoothly to the right height for each instrument.
- Sliding two-instrument table: move the auto-refractor, slit lamp or other instrument in front of the patient without the patient having to move.
- Self-balancing phoropter arm: swing the manual or automated phoropter into place with little effort.
- Projector support with LED lighting: holds the chart projector and lights the working area.
A complete refraction chain
Pair the unit with a phoropter such as the manual MPH 150 or the automated APH 550, and with a chart projector such as the CP 550, to set up a complete refraction room. Because the instrument table slides and the chair is motorised, the patient stays seated comfortably while you move from objective measurements to the subjective refraction.
