Overview
DELTA is an all-in-one lens finishing system for practices that edge standard jobs in store, whether every day or only now and then. A single unit traces the frame or demo lens, centres and blocks the lens, then edges it. Standard jobs are plastic, metal, rimless and semi-rimless frames up to base 4. DELTA suits smaller workshops that need reliable in-store finishing without the footprint of a separate tracer, centring unit and edger.
Simple to run, small to house
DELTA is one of the most compact edgers on the market, measuring 580 mm high, 545 mm wide and 490 mm deep. All functions sit on one workstation with an 8.4-inch colour touchscreen, a touch pencil and fully guided navigation, so operators keep a natural posture and do not move between machines.
A fully parallel workflow lets the operator prepare a new job while the edger is still cutting the previous lens, which keeps the workshop moving during busy periods.
Accurate tracing and centring
Place-and-trace optical technology captures the shape of demo lenses, recut lenses and patterns, including drilling holes. A back-and-forth optical centring system with a built-in zoom and a centring cross adapted to each lens type helps the operator position every lens correctly.
- Two blocking modes: boxing centre or optical centre
- Blocking control and adjustment aid to compensate for prismatic effect
- Myopia Fit manual centring and a Stellest lens layout function
Grooving, chamfering and drilling
Depending on configuration, DELTA grooves and chamfers at a fixed 10° angle and drills at an automatically adjusted angle of up to 15°. Cutting tools from 0.8 mm to 3.0 mm in diameter produce round holes, oblong holes, straight or angled notches and half-through holes.
DELTA edges all common lens materials: Orma, mid and high index, polycarbonate, Trivex and Tribrid. Choose the 4-wheel version to edge glass (mineral) lenses as well.
Connected for remote edging
DELTA works with the TESS range of mechanical tracers, so a practice can trace frames at the front desk or in a branch and send the job to the edger. This suits remote edging set-ups where several stores share one workshop. Shapes and drilling models can be stored and shared through Essibox.
DELTA is also compatible with a range of other tracers, which adds flexibility when it joins an existing workshop.

What frames can DELTA finish?
DELTA handles standard jobs: plastic, metal, rimless and semi-rimless frames up to base 4. For higher wraps and step bevels, look at NEKSIA or the ES 700 and ES 800 systems.
Does DELTA need a separate tracer?
No. DELTA traces optically, centres, blocks and edges in one unit. A TESS mechanical tracer can be added for 3D frame tracing or remote edging.
Which DELTA configuration should I choose?
DELTA 100 covers bevel, flat and polish. DELTA 200 adds grooving and chamfering for semi-rimless work. DELTA 300 adds drilling for rimless frames.
Can DELTA edge glass lenses?
Yes, with the 4-wheel version, which includes a mineral wheel. The 3-wheel version edges organic materials only.
