Overview
ES PRO 700M is a tabletop edger for prescription laboratories and high-volume finishing workshops. It combines hybrid milling and grinding, a heavy-duty build and long-lasting tools to keep output high and downtime low. It edges all plastic lens materials, including slippery hydrophobic lenses, and handles frames up to base 10. Labs use it on its own or as part of a multi-edger line linked to tracer-centerer-blockers, lab management software and Essibox.

The SuperVeloce roughing cycle and a new set of wheels with more grinding power bring edging time down by up to 41%, to under one minute per lens or about 27 jobs per hour. On average it is 25% faster than the earlier PRO-E 600 and 700.
Milling time is down by up to 57%, and the milling tool lasts up to six times longer regardless of lens material. A sturdy machine design with dedicated cutting tool shapes makes milling, drilling and grooving faster and more efficient.

ES PRO 700M needs no vacuum or compressed air, so there is no extra infrastructure to buy. A 12-inch tiltable multi-touch screen gives a comfortable heads-up view with 3D job previews.

Craft with precision
Fit 4 Frame 2.0 produces flat, bevel, mini bevel, groove, shelf or asymmetric, step, step back and inclined step back bevels for aesthetic, robust mountings. Real-time control of cutting forces lets the roughing cycle adapt to lens curves up to base 10, and bevel placement and shelf depth are set for mounting without undue stress on the lens.
Dry-cut milling reduces water use by as much as 66%, as well as lens waste, odour and swarf.

What is the difference between ES PRO 700M and ES PRO 800M?
Both share the same platform and speed. ES PRO 800M adds the super chamfer wheel, thick lens management, m’eye Sport Rx half-jacket mountings and m’eye Custom personalisation.
Does ES PRO 700M need compressed air or a vacuum system?
No. It is a tabletop edger that runs without vacuum or compressed air, so installation needs no extra infrastructure.
Can ES PRO 700M edge glass lenses?
No. It edges all plastic lens materials, including hydrophobic lenses, but not glass.
