The feel of a well-crafted manual phoropter
EU Class I medical device intended for optometry, CE marked. For professional use only.
The MPH 150 is a traditional manual phoropter for optometrists who prefer the direct control of a mechanical instrument. It combines gold-standard features with a reliable metal build and a premium manual feel. Broad sphere, cylinder and prism ranges cover a wide range of patients for distance and near vision. It mounts on standard horizontal arms, so it fits refraction units and wall-mounted arms alike.
The MPH 150 supports a wide range of tests across clinical refraction:
Convergence for near vision tilts the optical axes easily for the near exam.
Smooth mechanical controls give tactile, consistent adjustments. A simple knob advances the lenses quickly, with the discs driven automatically. The metal chassis is built for daily use, and the mechanical parts can be serviced to keep the instrument performing consistently over time. The form factor is balanced for comfortable handling in the exam room, and a tilt mechanism makes it easy to converge the optical axes for the near vision exam.
Choose a black or light grey finish to suit your refraction room. The MPH 150 is available in minus cylinder and plus cylinder models. The plus cylinder version comes in black only and is supplied with +2.00 D cylinder accessory lenses. Availability of the plus cylinder model depends on local registration. Both models fit standard horizontal mounts, so the MPH 150 can be installed on the self-balancing arm of a refraction unit or on a wall-mounted arm.
